Mark 8

Chapter Eight:

v. 23: This man must have had only a little faith in Jesus.  Otherwise, why would Jesus go through this ritual of rubbing saliva into the man’s eyes, and why would the actual healing require two attempts?  Compare this story with that of the centurion of great faith (Matthew 8:5-10).[1] Also, remember Mark 6:5-6.  The good news is that even if we have faith as small as a mustard seed, God will work with us patiently as he does with the blind man here.
